The challenging opening hole

Hole #1
Par 4 282 Yards Stroke Index 11

Hole One

A fun and challenging opening hole this par 4 demands an accurate tee shot which needs ideal positioning on the right half of the fairway to open up the green. The approach shot will more often than not have to be played across water to a well-guarded undulating green. Measuring just under 300yds the bigger hitter may attempt to drive the green but do so at their peril on this risk and reward hole.

Bunkers can be found at the front left and back right of the green. Both will leave you with a tricky shot onto the narrow sloping green.

Water Hazards

There is a large pond to the right of the fairway forcing a decision to lay up or take your risk by going for the green with a longer club.
